Legal

Terms of use

These conditions govern the use of the bliq marketplace by brands and creators.

Reference draft. This text describes how the product works and serves as the basis for the final legal wording. It must be reviewed and approved by a lawyer before publication. The Spanish version prevails.

1. What bliq is

bliq is a marketplace that connects brands with content creators. bliq doesn't produce content or represent creators: it acts as an intermediary between the parties and holds the funds while a campaign runs.

2. Accounts

Each account is either a brand or a creator account, and the two types are mutually exclusive. To add budget, a brand must complete company verification. To get paid, a creator must complete identity verification.

3. Relationship between the parties

The relationship between bliq and creators is not an employment relationship. Creators operate independently, choose which campaigns to join and are responsible for their own tax obligations.

4. Campaigns and payments

  • A campaign's budget is held until it's released to creators.
  • A piece is paid when it passes the set threshold and clears the risk check.
  • If a campaign is cancelled, the remainder is returned minus the fee already earned.
  • Payments with fraud signals may be held until reviewed.

5. Content license

By uploading a piece, the creator grants bliq a limited license to display and verify it inside the platform, for the sole purpose of running the campaign. The creator keeps ownership of their content. Extended usage rights, where they exist, are agreed and paid separately within the campaign.

6. Prohibited content

bliq reviews every campaign before it goes live and may reject or remove content that breaks the platform's rules or those of the social network where it's posted.

7. Fees

Current fees are published on the pricing page. Any change is announced before it takes effect.
